Question: Do I have to have a cell phone or purchase cell service as well as MagneticGPSTracker service?
Answer: No, MagneticGPSTracker™ provides a complete service including the GPS vehicle tracking unit, software and network connectivity to the GPS vehicle tracking unit. All you need is a PC with an internet connection and a vehicle to track!

Question: I do not want people to be aware of the MagneticGPSTracker GPS vehicle tracking unit on the car. Where should I place the unit so it won't be discovered?
Answer: The unit should be placed under the car attached to a metal surface and hidden from easy viewing.

Question: Is it difficult to install?
Answer: There is no installation required for this unit. Once the unit is charged, place in the ruggedized magnetized box and attach to a metal surface on a vehicle (or other item you wish tracked).

Question: How much does the MagneticGPSTracker GPS tracking unit cost?
Answer: The GPS vehicle tracking unit is available for $379.95. Service plans are:

150 locates per month: $14.95/mo (20% discount for annual purchase)
10 locates per month: $3.95/mo (20% discount for annual purchase)
Additional locates $0.25 per locate (billed at the end of each month)

Question: I need to track a vehicle every minute for a couple of days. Is this something I can do?
Answer: Every-minute continuous tracking is available as an upgrade to the per-locate service plan. The cost per day is $19.95 and you can purchase as many days as you would like. Every-minute tracking is not available for tracking in Mexico.

Question: How long will the battery last before needing to be charged?
Answer: The MagneticGPSTracker battery will last up to 7 days using based on 5-10 locates per day. It will last up to 3 days using every-minute continuous tracking. The tracking unit will go into sleep mode when the vehicle is not moving.

Question: Where will the MagneticGPSTracker GPS tracking unit work?
Answer: The MagneticGPSTracker GPS tracking unit will work in the US and Canada.

Question: Is there an extra charge for the water resistant case for the MagneticGPSTracker unit?
Answer: The water resistant case is included with all MagneticGPSTracker units along with a power adaptor for battery charging.
